To assist in making your day memorable we ask that you confirm the total number of your guests 10 days prior to your event. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The bill is based on the final guarantee even if fewer guests than expected should attend. Saturday evenings are a minimum of 150 guests. Room assignments are based on final count.
The Whittier Party House will not permit any nails, tape, staples, confetti, shredded mylar, or any other items used to affix to the walls or outside of the building or grounds. Rice or bird seed throwing is not permitted. Parties that do not comply will be charged an additional $400 cleaning fee.
Upon booking your special event, we require a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your date as a definite, paid by cash, cashiers check, money order, VISA/MasterCard; six months prior to your event, an additional $1,000 deposit will be required. Menu selections and other details must be finalized 12 weeks prior to your event, at this time a 40% deposit of the total party price is required. All prices are subject to change without notice.
The Whittier Party House reserves the right to request all or part of the bill prior to the function. Payment of the total party is required 5 days prior to the function date based on the guaranteed number of guests: paid by cash, cashier’s check, or money order only, VISA/MasterCard (additional 5% for credit card). Returned checks will be assessed a $50 fee.
The 20% service charge is a facility/administrative fee and is not purported to be a gratuity, and will not be distributed as gratuities to the employees who provided service to patrons.
All deposits are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation an additional $1,750 cancellation fee will be imposed. If an event cancels and reschedules, a non-refundable rebooking fee will be imposed. Also, The Whittier Party House must receive a written notice of cancellation within 72 hours of cancellation.
Patrons must assume responsibility for any damage caused to Whittier Party House by their guests. We reserve the right to terminate a function if unsafe conditions for the guests and staff should arise. The Whittier Party House will not assume responsibility for any articles/merchandise prior to, during or following your event.
